Speech Pathology - Vienna, IL
A K-12 educational setting in Vienna, IL is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy services for a diverse caseload of students ranging from PreK through 12th grade. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a chance to impact children with mild to moderate disabilities, focusing primarily on articulation goals alongside various other speech and language objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy to students across multiple grade levels
- Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
- Address a broad range of communication goals, with an emphasis on articulation
- Complete approximately six weeks’ worth of makeup therapy minutes as required
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student success
Qualifications:
- Illinois State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and an active Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with K-12 populations in school-based settings
- Ability to manage a caseload with mild to moderate communication disorders
- Strong organizational and communication skills for documentation and collaboration
