Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current state license for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Credentialing appropriate for a school setting (CFY supervision available for qualified SLPs)
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-based populations preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in speech, language, and communication disorder therapy
- Strong documentation, collaboration, and communication skills
- Compassionate, motivating approach to therapy—dedicated to fostering student success
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined by IEPs and 504 plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and district initiatives as needed
- Support generalization of communication skills across school settings
