Preferred Background and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of approved SLP program (for SLP roles)
- Current or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Clinical certification (CCC) for SLPs or completion of CFY requirements (SLP – CFY)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings highly valued
- Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication abilities and a compassionate approach to student care
- Experience as an SLPA in either educational or healthcare environments is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and individualized therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Support the development and achievement of students’ IEP goals
- Maintain thorough records of evaluations, progress notes, and data tracking
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy in both individual and group settings
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a nurturing and inclusive educational atmosphere
