Elementary Pre-School School Speech Pathology | Venice, Florida
This position offers an opportunity to provide Speech-Language Pathology services in an elementary school setting, focusing on PreK through 5th-grade students. Working in a school environment provides a consistent weekly schedule and eliminates cancellations commonly experienced in clinical or home-based settings. This role allows an SLP to make a meaningful impact by helping students develop critical communication skills and thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering on-site speech and language therapy to elementary students (PreK-5)
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to support student goals
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participating in team meetings, evaluations, and individualized education program (IEP) development
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; candidates with Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Master’s degree are considered
- Commitment to working within the school setting and collaborating with educational teams
Locations and schedule:
- Position based in Venice, Florida with opportunities in nearby school districts
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Traditional school schedule, Monday through Friday
- Contract through May 2026, with options to extend for the 2026/2027 school year
- Local applicants preferred; travel and relocation options may be supported
