Step into a meaningful contract opportunity serving students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community near Van Alstyne, TX. Partner alongside a supportive Lead SLP and contribute your expertise to positively shape the lives of K-12 learners.
This position begins as soon as possible and continues through May 12th, providing a consistent 7.5-hour workday, typically five days per week. As the primary SLP for a campus, you will serve approximately 55 students, using your knowledge and creativity to help them achieve their communication goals.
What You Bring:
- Active SLP licensure in Texas and relevant certifications
- Recent experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively manage a moderate caseload
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and measurable student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a diverse student population
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs and monitor progress
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and prepare timely reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support holistic student development
- Participate in meetings and contribute as a valued member of the interdisciplinary team
- Liaise with the Lead SLP for ongoing mentorship and guidance
