Speech Therapist in Vallejo, CA
An exciting opportunity is available for three skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services within K-12 educational settings. These positions are full-time contracts starting immediately and continuing through June 5, 2026, serving multiple school buildings.
Location: Fairfield, CA
Position Type: Contract, CSY (Calif. School Year)
Hours: 37.5 per week
Caseloads:
- Pre-K to 1st Grade: 35-40 students
- Kindergarten to 8th Grade: 40-45 students
- Kindergarten to 12th Grade: 50-55 students
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language pathology services directly to students across multiple buildings.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication development.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 populations.
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple school environments.
- Availability to work onsite; virtual positions are not being considered for these roles.
- Note: VOCO SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for these openings.
Working onsite is essential to support direct student interactions and to replace currently virtual roles with in-person services. This role offers the chance to positively impact student communication skills and educational outcomes.
