A contract opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to provide on-site services at an elementary school in San Francisco, CA. This position offers the chance to support early learners through Pre-K intake assessments and FMLA coverage for an SLP through the remainder of the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Pre-K intake assessments for students to identify speech and language needs.
  • Provide individualized speech-language services consistent with the school’s intervention plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with educational staff to support student progress.
  • Fulfill FMLA coverage responsibilities for an existing Speech-Language Pathologist at the assigned elementary school.
  • Adhere to all district policies and maintain confidentiality regarding student information.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure issued by the state’s Department of Consumer Affairs.
  • Professional Speech Services Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience working in school settings with young children, specifically in Pre-K programs.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities are strongly preferred.
  • Candidates currently holding a Clinical Fellowship will not be considered for this assignment.
  • Ability to commit to an on-site schedule, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Location: San Francisco, CA – on-site at an elementary school

This contract assignment runs from ASAP through June 3, 2026, providing a stable, focused work environment. Candidates fluent in ASL or who are bilingual will receive preference due to diverse student needs.
