You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with professionals across multiple educational environments, including three days weekly at the Yoder Learning Center in West Liberty and two days at Triad. Experience hands-on growth through exposure to a variety of workplace practices and leadership approaches, which can significantly enhance your professional toolkit and résumé. Every day brings new learning, all while supporting a caseload primarily featuring students with autism, ranging from kindergarteners to high school seniors.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) certification (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working with students with autism strongly preferred
- Active SLP state license (or eligibility to quickly obtain)
- Adaptable, with strong collaborative and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech and language therapy services to students with autism across multiple grade levels
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with district standards
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to support each student’s IEP goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Adjust strategies and schedules flexibly to meet students’ diverse needs
