Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP in Maryland (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience working in educational or school-based environments preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Proficient in developing and executing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with assessment, documentation, and progress monitoring protocols
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and create individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with other faculty and caregivers to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and organized documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Support students in developing functional communication and language skills
- Contribute to IEP meetings and progress reports as needed
