Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Demonstrated experience working within schools, specifically at the middle and high school levels
- Comfortable and skilled in navigating urban school communities
- Familiarity with completing all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to the start date
- Ability to work onsite; remote options are not available for this position
- Reliable transportation for consistent daily attendance
- Availability to work the full schedule within the hours of 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM, as accommodations to the work schedule are not permitted
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with educators and families
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Provide direct therapy services, including one-on-one and group sessions
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development as needed
