Make an impact supporting students’ communication and language growth in an onsite elementary school SLP role! This contract opportunity calls for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current PA SLP Educator Certificate and experience providing therapy in school settings. Spend three days per week (8:15AM–3:40PM) in a collaborative environment, delivering valued services within the first semester of the academic year.
You’ll be joining a team focused on creating effective, personalized interventions for students. Your expertise will help shape their educational and social experiences. The site is conveniently located near Uniontown, PA, at a vibrant elementary school.
Key Qualifications:
- Active PA SLP Educator Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles highly desired
- Demonstrated ability to adapt communication and therapy approaches to various student needs
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work well with teachers, administrators, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, onsite speech and language therapy to assigned elementary caseload
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment aligned with IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with other faculty and support staff for comprehensive student care
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and support consistent communication with families
