Speech Language Pathologist in Ukiah, CA

Multiple opportunities are available for both experienced SLPs (CCC or CFY) and SLPAs to work directly with students ranging from 1st through 12th grade in special day classrooms. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology for SLP candidates; associate’s/bachelor's for SLPAs
- Current California licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC, CFY welcome) or SLPA
- Previous experience in school settings highly valued
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement therapy plans for students with a range of communication challenges
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in special day classrooms, grades 1-12
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of student speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy services
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and support staff regarding student development
- Empower students to achieve greater independence and success in communication
