Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license (Alabama or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Demonstrated experience with pediatric and K-12 populations preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Strong communication, organizational, and adaptability skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students across multiple school sites
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Travel between assigned schools as a district SLP
