This full-time opportunity is available for the 2026–2027 school year, serving students in grades K–12 in a school setting located in Merrill, OR. The position focuses on providing Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to pediatric populations, including early childhood and elementary school students. Caseloads are flexible, varying according to experience and candidate preference, with a range from moderate to profound needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric students.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ unique needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to goal setting and intervention strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification or licensure relevant to pediatric settings.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood and elementary school speech therapy methodologies.
  • Ability to manage caseloads with varying student needs.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

This is a contract position open to both local and travel candidates, providing an excellent opportunity to work in a lively school community. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $40 to $60, commensurate with experience.
