This position is open to candidates who have completed, or are in the process of completing, their Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CFY) as well as those with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC). You'll work alongside a dedicated school team, using your skills to assess, develop, and implement individualized interventions for students with a variety of communication needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or eligible SLP-CFY)
- Experience or coursework in school-based speech-language services preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and adjust treatment plans for students of varying needs
- Collaborative mindset to work with teachers, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders among students
- Design and implement speech-language intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress reports
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to individualized educational planning
- Provide education and resources to staff and families to support student success
- Deliver both individual and group therapy in alignment with educational objectives
