Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or SLP-CFY candidates with strong academic and clinical backgrounds
- Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly valued
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to elementary and/or secondary students
- Conduct screenings, assess student speech and language abilities, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, consultation, and collaboration with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer education and training to staff and parents regarding communication disorders and support strategies
