Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or SLP-CFY candidates with strong academic and clinical backgrounds
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly valued
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to elementary and/or secondary students
  • Conduct screenings, assess student speech and language abilities, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consultation, and collaboration with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Offer education and training to staff and parents regarding communication disorders and support strategies
