Speech Language Pathologist

Make an impact working with elementary students in a supportive educational environment! This part-time contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who enjoys working with young learners and collaborating with school teams. Serve students across two elementary school sites while enjoying a manageable caseload and a consistent schedule throughout the full school year.
Position Highlights:
- Part-time schedule of approximately 15–20 hours per week
- Serve students across two elementary school sites in Maysville and Pollocksville
- Caseload of approximately 18 students
- Position begins September 30, 2026, and continues through the full school year
- Opportunity to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
- Supportive school environment focused on student growth and success
- Experience with Medicaid billing is a plus
Required Qualifications:
- Active SLP license and any necessary state certifications
- Current SLP-CCC credential
- Experience providing speech and language services in a school-based setting preferred
- Experience working with elementary-age students
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to an assigned caseload of approximately 18 elementary students
- Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans based on their communication needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as required
- Provide services across the elementary school sites in Maysville and Pollocksville
- Complete necessary documentation related to Medicaid billing, when applicable
