Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in diverse student populations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate interventions within the educational setting
- Maintain thorough and timely case notes and IEP documentation
- Engage with families regarding student progress and strategies for support at home
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
