Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as a school-based SLP
- Previous experience working in school settings with K-12 students is highly preferred
- Ability to travel between multiple schools within the district
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document evaluations, progress reports, and maintain thorough case records in accordance with school and district policies
- Provide direct therapy and intervention within both individual and group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the Special Education team with recommendations and expertise
