Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Buffalo, NY

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license for practice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Strong experience providing SLP services in schools, healthcare, or pediatric settings
- Proficiency and comfort with in-person assessments and therapy for children from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus, though this position is onsite
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement customized Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions tailored to student needs
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in student support meetings
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students and staff regarding communication and language needs
- Partner with educators and parents to build collaborative support strategies
- Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations related to school-based SLP services
