Role Overview
The selected clinician will provide school-based speech and language support to students in grades 9–12.
Responsibilities may include:
- Direct speech-language services
- Supporting student communication needs
- Collaboration with teachers and school personnel
- Student documentation
- Evaluation/re-evaluation support as appropriate
SLPs: The district would like assistance with conducting re-evaluations.
Supervision: No supervision is needed.
Credentials
SLP candidates should have an Arizona SLP license, CCC-SLP, and an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
SLPA candidates should meet applicable Arizona SLPA credentialing requirements and fingerprint requirements.
