Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Illinois SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop individualized intervention plans and work collaboratively with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of elementary students, providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs, document progress, and recommend appropriate services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student success and communication outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
