Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Illinois SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized intervention plans and work collaboratively with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of elementary students, providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs, document progress, and recommend appropriate services
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student success and communication outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
