A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available in a school setting located in Tinley Park, IL. This position is contracted for the remainder of the 2026 school year, beginning January 5th and concluding on May 29th, 2026. The schedule requires 2.5 days per week, working primarily with elementary students from Pre-K through 5th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 19 students (12 on IEPs and 7 requiring RTI support)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote communication development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Professional Educator License (PEL) Endorsement for SLP
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working within school settings highly preferred
