Speech Language Pathologist in Three Rivers, MI
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working with students across a wide age range, from PreK through high school. As a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP), you will make a lasting impact in the lives of young learners, primarily focusing on PreK students while supporting some students in K-5 and a smaller number in middle and high school. Your role will involve collaborating with dedicated professionals to address a variety of communication needs and primary disabilities, providing specialized services on a caseload of approximately 30-50 students.
This position offers flexibility, with options to work between 20 and 35 hours per week over 3 to 5 days, allowing you to tailor your schedule to fit your lifestyle. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 5, 2026, providing stability and the opportunity to establish meaningful connections with students, families, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Active CCC-SLP licensure in Michigan is required
- Prior experience in schools is a plus, but not mandatory
- Adaptability to support students with varied primary disabilities
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Monitor and review student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
