This contract position provides the chance to work with a diverse caseload encompassing primarily PreK students, with some elementary, and occasional middle and high school students, offering variety in day-to-day responsibilities. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through June 5, 2026. Flexible scheduling is available, with the option to work 20–35 hours per week across three to five days, allowing for a work arrangement that fits your lifestyle.
Qualifications:
- Active CCC-SLP credential in Michigan required
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Comfortable serving students with a range of primary disabilities
- Ability to collaborate with staff, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 30–50 students, mainly in PreK with some K–5, and minimal MS/HS
- Assess, diagnose, and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress in accordance with school guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
