Make a difference supporting early learners in an intensive preschool classroom with this unique contract opportunity for a dedicated speech-language pathologist. You’ll work on-site with one school for the entire assignment, engaging with PreK students in a collaborative, supportive environment. Start as soon as possible and continue through late May, with responsibilities centered on helping young children enhance their communication abilities and thrive during their vital early learning years.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Colorado SLP license required
- Accepting SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CF) applicants
- Previous experience with preschool-aged children preferred
- Familiarity working with non-verbal or minimally verbal populations is a plus
- Ability to complete and submit required district credentialing paperwork promptly
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to an intensive preschool caseload
- Evaluate, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with district requirements
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and educational team members
Contract Details:
- Assignment at one elementary school, supporting a PreK classroom
- 37.5 hours per week, on-site
- Contract position with a defined start and end date
- Start as soon as possible, assignment runs through May 21, 2027
