Speech Language Pathologist needed for a school-based opening near Texas City, TX. This full school year contract job provides a great opportunity to make an impact on the lives of children while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract, W2
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Conduct screenings and assessments to determine the needs of students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with educators and parents to set goals.
- Document and track student progress in accordance with state and district regulations.
- Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, special education teams, and administrators, to create a supportive and inclusive environment for students.
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop goals and objectives for students.
- Maintain a caseload of students, ensuring timely and effective delivery of therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Texas SLP license or eligible
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
