Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | New Britain, Connecticut
A short-term contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist with expertise in pediatric and school-based speech therapy. This onsite role is based in New Britain, CT, serving students from Pre-K through 2nd grade with mild to moderate disabilities. The position begins in January 2026 and runs through April 2026, with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and provide therapy to children in early education settings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ specific communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Utilize skills in teletherapy as needed to supplement onsite services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
- Connecticut Teachers Certification (061).
- Experience working with preschool and early elementary-aged children.
- Knowledge of mild to moderate disabilities and appropriate therapeutic techniques.
- Proficiency in both onsite and teletherapy delivery methods.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.

- Schedule: Approximately 37.5 hours per week
- School Year: 2025-2026 (January to April)
