An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a K-12 school setting located in Temple, TX. This contract position runs through the end of the current school year, offering 35-40 hours per week across five days. The role primarily involves itinerant responsibilities, servicing multiple school sites within the district.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not mandatory
- Accepting Clinical Fellows (CF) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) applicants
- Experience working with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade is advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services throughout the school year
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Manage caseloads effectively, often traveling between different school locations as part of itinerant service delivery
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with federal and state regulations
