This contract opportunity is for multiple Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting. The primary location for assignments is in Woodbridge, VA, servicing students in Stafford County Public Schools. Positions are full-time with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, beginning on October 5, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering remote speech-language pathology services to school-aged children
- Managing a caseload to support students’ communication needs effectively
- Coordinating with school staff and families to facilitate student progress
- Adhering to all district policies and procedures, including virtual service protocols
Qualifications and experience required:
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services in educational settings
- Ability to manage a full caseload and adapt therapy plans based on individual student needs
- Successful completion of required background checks for virtual service delivery
Positions available include:
- A full-time SLP replacing a resigning agency therapist, anticipated start November 5, 2026, through the end of the school year
- Maternity leave coverage starting immediately and expected to last until mid to late January
- Additional coverage due to delays with a newly assigned SLP providing services
