Remote Speech Language Pathologist in WA
A speech-language pathologist with expertise in school-based services and telespeech is sought for a contract position located in Tacoma, WA. This role involves providing speech and language therapy to a caseload of 40 to 50 students, working 32.5 hours per week at an elementary school resource room.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language therapy services aligned with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to support student communication goals
- Utilizing teletherapy (Telespeech) or onsite therapy methods as needed
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with educational guidelines
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Washington
- Approved fingerprint clearance issued through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
- Prior experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Proficient in both onsite and telepractice service delivery
This assignment is available immediately through June 23, 2027, offering the flexibility to work onsite or via telespeech platforms. The location is Midland Elementary’s resource room, where a supportive and dynamic learning environment fosters student growth.
