Telehealth School-Based Speech Therapy | Virginia
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a virtual school-based setting for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Support the development of communication skills using telespeech and teletherapy methods, adhering to individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborating with educational staff to enhance student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual speech-language therapy sessions to K-12 students, focusing on a variety of communication disorders.
- Utilize telepractice technologies to conduct effective and engaging therapy.
- Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with school personnel, families, and other professionals to support student success.
- Participate in virtual meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing school-based speech-language services.
- Proficient in teletherapy delivery and related technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of K-12 educational environment and special education regulations.
Location: This fully virtual role supports students based in Virginia.
Schedule:
