Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in CA

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy within an educational setting. This contract position offers remote work flexibility, supporting students across multiple school sites. The role focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language services to K-12 students using telepractice methods.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services remotely to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies.
- Participate in required meetings and professional development sessions remotely as needed.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid California Teaching Credential (CTC) specific to speech-language pathology.
- Hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or equivalent credentials.
- Experience delivering telepractice speech-language services in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple locations remotely.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills for virtual service delivery.
Location and Schedule:
- Remote position supporting educational sites throughout San Mateo, CA.
- Contract duration starting August 2026 through the 2026–2027 school year.
- Minimal hours, up to 10 hours per week; specific days to be determined.
