ProCare Therapy is seeking experienced Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for 1099 teletherapy roles supporting California school districts for the 2026–2027 school year.
These are select, high-demand virtual opportunities designed for clinicians who are confident working independently in school-based settings and are comfortable supporting a range of student and district needs.
Position Details:
- Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Flexible part-time or full-time options available
- Setting: Fully virtual / teletherapy
- Caseload: K–12 school-based services (varies by district assignment)
- Location Requirement: Must be licensed in California and eligible to serve CA school districts remotely
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are prioritizing clinicians who are comfortable working in dynamic school environments and can step into assignments with confidence and flexibility. The strongest applicants typically demonstrate experience with:
- Independent management of school-based caseloads
- Providing direct therapy services across varied grade levels (K–12)
- Completing evaluations and assessments with accuracy and efficiency
- Supporting IEP documentation and compliance responsibilities
- Collaborating with school teams and providing guidance when needed
- Adapting quickly to different district expectations and service models
Required Qualifications:
- Active ASHA CCC-SLP (required)
- Active California SLP License (required)
- California CTC Credential (required)
- Minimum 2+ years of school-based SLP experience (required)
- Prior virtual/teletherapy experience strongly preferred
- California-based clinicians preferred
Compensation:
- $55–$90+ per hour (1099 contract)
