Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - IL

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services for early childhood students in a dynamic educational setting located in Plano, Illinois. This contract position offers the opportunity to work primarily onsite with pre-kindergarten through first-grade students, focusing exclusively on speech therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 12-15 students with speech-only needs.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized education programs (IEPs) using Easy IEP software.
- Maintain detailed monthly speech minutes and progress notes.
- Collaborate and share a dedicated speech therapy room alongside three other speech-language pathologists.
- Adapt to a schedule initially of one day per week with potential to increase to two days, from 7:00 am to 2:45 pm.
- Provide services onsite with the possibility of virtual sessions as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) endorsement is required.
- Experience working within school settings, specifically with young children in early grades.
- Knowledge of speech-language pathology best practices and early childhood communication disorders.
- Familiarity with individualized education plan (IEP) development and software utilization.
- Ability to manage multiple students and paperwork efficiently while maintaining high-quality therapy services.
