A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telepractice to provide virtual services for a 5th-grade male student. This role focuses on delivering one-on-one teletherapy sessions within a school setting.
Location:
- Remote (serving a student associated with a school district in New Hampshire)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1 hour per week of direct teletherapy services to a 5th-grade student.
- Collaborate with the student, family, and educational team to support communication goals.
- Coordinate scheduling to align with student needs and other service providers.
- Document and track progress, providing indirect service time as required.
- Support continuity of care while the district arranges an out-of-district placement (anticipated duration approximately 2 to 4 weeks, subject to change).
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed to provide telepractice services.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering teletherapy to school-aged children.
- Strong skills in virtual communication platforms and remote therapy techniques.
- Ability to manage flexible scheduling and adapt services based on student needs.
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and school-based service delivery.
