Speech Language Pathologist Work From Home | Illinois
A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available with a school serving 5th and 6th grade students. This contract role begins on August 17, 2026, and concludes on June 4, 2027, offering the opportunity to support a diverse student population through teletherapy.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 60 students ranging from general education to severe life skills needs. The role encompasses a mix of speech-only services and speech as a related service, with case management responsibility for roughly 20 students. Services will be delivered virtually with a focus on push-in support for students with severe disabilities and pull-out services for those in self-contained settings. Collaboration with a paraprofessional facilitator and virtual psychologist will support effective service delivery.
Key qualifications include:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
- Active LBS1 certification
- Experience providing teletherapy in educational settings
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload including varying severity levels
Location: Danville, IL (virtual service provision)
