Teletherapy Speech Therapy in School Setting - Florida
A virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide teletherapy services for high school students. This contract role is based in Naples, FL, working with a local school district. The schedule offers flexibility, with 26 to 32.5 hours per week distributed over 4 to 5 days, approximately 6.5 hours daily. The assignment commences as soon as possible and concludes at the end of May.
Responsibilities include delivering virtual speech therapy sessions tailored to high school-aged students, ensuring state requirements for service minutes are met. The clinician will collaborate to develop and implement individualized intervention plans, track progress, and maintain comprehensive documentation consistent with professional standards.
Qualifications for this position include:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Valid certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing virtual speech therapy services, preferably with credentialing through VocoVision
- Ability to complete required fingerprint clearance through the appropriate state channels or provide verification of previous clearance via the AHCA Clearinghouse
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and coordinate services effectively
