A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available supporting school-based teletherapy services for students in Montgomery, AL. This contract role involves both therapeutic interventions and evaluations conducted remotely, serving a caseload that typically remains under 60 students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy sessions via telepractice platforms.
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and services.
Required qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Alabama ASHA certification.
- Alabama Educator SLP certification (pending status acceptable at start).
- Experience providing school-based speech therapy and teletherapy services.
- Ability to manage caseload while maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines.
Work schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week from the start date through May 27, 2027.
This position is fully virtual, enabling work from any location while serving the Montgomery school district. The role excludes Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) from the caseload.
