Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Remote - Alabama
Marion, AL
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide telespeech support in a school setting. The role involves approximately 14 hours per week and focuses on assisting with speech therapy services aimed at relieving billing SLPA duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver telespeech services to students requiring speech and language support
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school policies
- Support billing-related tasks as needed to alleviate workload for the billing SLPA
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training related to telespeech modalities
Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs or appropriate certification/license for SLPA in school settings
- Experience providing speech-language services in educational environments
- Comfort and proficiency with telespeech platforms and technologies
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage students remotely
- Knowledge of billing procedures related to speech-language services (preferred)
Location: Marion, AL
