Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a difference in students’ lives from anywhere? We’re seeking dedicated and student-focused Virtual SLPs to provide high-quality teletherapy services to Wisconsin school districts in a collaborative and supportive remote environment.
Position Overview
The Virtual SLP will provide speech-language therapy, evaluations, and IEP support services to K–12 students through secure online platforms while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams across Wisconsin schools.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging virtual speech-language therapy services
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and team collaboration
- Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and students
- Ensure compliance with Wisconsin DPI, IDEA, and district guidelines
- Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital therapy tools effectively
Requirements To meet Wisconsin school district requirements, applicants must:
- Hold an active Wisconsin DPI license in Speech-Language Pathology or be eligible for Wisconsin DPI licensure
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Maintain active ASHA CCC-SLP certification (preferred; CF candidates may be considered depending on district needs)
- Pass all required background checks and fingerprint clearance
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Have reliable high-speed internet and a professional remote workspace
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and virtual engagement skills
- Be comfortable using virtual therapy and documentation platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous school-based experience
- Teletherapy experience with K–12 students
- Familiarity with IEP systems and virtual documentation platforms
- Ability to independently manage caseloads and schedules
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary school teams
