Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in OR

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for a contract assignment in Lowell, OR, serving two neighboring schools. This position requires providing comprehensive services to a caseload of approximately 34 students, with responsibilities spanning assessment, goal development, direct therapy, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting student assessments and analyzing results to inform goal setting.
- Managing and coordinating IEP meetings, including drafting and reviewing IEP documents.
- Delivering direct speech therapy services tailored to student needs.
- Case managing assigned students by maintaining organization, scheduling meetings, and ensuring compliance with educational standards.
- Serving as a resource for coordinating care and collaboration among educational staff.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Current Oregon Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) licensure.
- Proven ability to self-manage caseloads and coordinate multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and experience drafting IEPs with preparation of 7-10 prior documents per meeting.
- Familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology practices and telespeech technology is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
