Pediatric Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - OH

A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support to students in a unique educational setting focusing on truancy challenges. This role involves delivering teletherapy services to older children and adolescents, up to age 21, in a partial-day school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech therapy sessions tailored to the needs of students with truancy and related challenges.
- Manage caseload virtually, providing focused therapy in designated minute increments: approximately 60, 80, and 90 minutes per student.
- Collaborate with onsite teams to complement existing therapeutic interventions during students’ in-person time.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and educational standards.
- Apply teletherapy best practices to engage students effectively in a virtual setting.
Qualifications:
- Current Ohio SLP license and appropriate Ohio Department of Education (ODE) certification.
- Experience providing school-based speech therapy, particularly with pediatrics and adolescents.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver virtual therapy services.
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location: Virtual sessions supporting students in Lakewood, OH.
