A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric services within a school setting, located in Ketchikan, Alaska. This role emphasizes telespeech and pediatric SLP skills to support student communication needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services tailored to pediatric populations.
- Utilize telespeech methods to provide remote assessment and intervention.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Type C Special Services Certificate for Alaska is required.
- Pediatric speech-language pathology experience is preferred.
- Experience working within Alaska’s education system highly desirable.
- Must secure professional liability insurance prior to commencement.
- Ability to work independently within a 1099 contract framework.
Contract Details:
- Position requires availability for 32.5 hours each week.
- Compensation ranges from $48 to $52 per hour, with payments made weekly.
