About the Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality virtual speech and language services to students in Kentucky schools. This is a fully remote opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with school-aged children and collaborating with educators, families, and school teams.
The SLP will provide services through a secure teletherapy platform and help students develop the communication skills they need to succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual speech-language evaluations, therapy, and consultation to students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based teletherapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and service logs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with school teams and families.
- Follow Kentucky school-based requirements and applicable special education regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Kentucky SLP licensure or eligibility for Kentucky licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable.
- School-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Comfortable providing services through teletherapy.
- Reliable internet connection and a private, professional workspace.
