Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) 20262027 School Year Contract
We are seeking dedicated, independent, and tech-savvy Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide high-quality teletherapy services to K–12 students across Michigan. Whether you are looking for a full caseload or a flexible part-time schedule, this 1099 contractor role offers the autonomy to manage your own client sessions from the comfort of your home office.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct virtual speech and language assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations.
Develop, write, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and district guidelines.
Deliver direct online speech therapy to students individually or in small groups.
Collaborate virtually with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student progress.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and attendance logging.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Licensure: Active Michigan SLP License and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
Technology:
High-speed internet, functional computer/laptop, HD webcam, and noise-canceling headset.
Comfort with teletherapy platforms and digital IEP software.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Position Details
Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible weekday school hours (Full-Time and Part-Time caseloads available).
Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
