Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - MI

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide telespeech services supporting a single student at an alternative high school in Grand Haven, MI. This role involves working with one high school student who is on track to graduate by December, requiring support for 15 to 40-minute teletherapy sessions, conducted one to four times per month as specified by the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language services in alignment with the student’s IEP
- Participate in the student’s IEP meeting scheduled for September 30 at 8:30 am
- Provide up to 4 hours of service per week, adapting to the student’s academic progress and schedule
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate as needed with school staff and families to support student success
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Michigan
- Experience working with speech-language services in school settings; prior exposure to voco systems preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and effective virtual communication techniques
- Ability to work flexibly within a limited weekly schedule
- Background clearance and adherence to district credentialing and compliance protocols
Location: Services will be delivered remotely to a student enrolled at an alternative high school within Grand Haven.
This role requires a commitment extending until the student’s expected graduation in December, with hours designed to provide targeted, supportive intervention that enables timely credit completion.
