Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - PA

A contract opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services in a school setting located in Gettysburg, PA. The role focuses on supporting students in two Autistic Support classrooms and one Learning Support classroom through a combination of onsite and teletherapy methods. This position extends through the end of May 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to Autistic Support and Learning Support students according to individualized education plans.
- Provide teletherapy sessions effectively using telespeech and teletherapy platforms.
- Collaborate closely with classroom staff and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with speech services regulations.
- Coordinate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) if working in a teletherapy capacity, as virtual SLPs must be accompanied by an SLPA.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification (PA SLP Cert) is required.
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification preferred.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered if an agency provides a supervision fee and plan.
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Learning Support needs.
- Ability to provide both onsite and teletherapy services as needed.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
