A contract opportunity is available for a Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within an elementary school setting. The role focuses on delivering remote speech-language pathology support to a diverse group of elementary students, managing a caseload that includes a mixed population of learners.
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Virtual assignment with affiliation to an elementary school)
Assignment Duration:
- Current School Year Coverage: May 22 – June 4, 2026 (Virtual)
- Next School Year Coverage: September 4 – December 23, 2026 (Full first semester)
Schedule and Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 37.5 hours per week, typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive virtual speech-language pathology therapy to elementary students.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 28 students, with a total of 47 students served.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement teletherapy interventions.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation and case management records in accordance with state and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Speech-Language Pathology state licensure.
- Experience with telespeech and teletherapy techniques in school settings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage virtual caseloads.
